Hall Description

Main Hall – 128sq M.(138sq ft) The main feature hall has a capacity for 150 people standing (100 seated), with a stage area at the front. The room is well lit and airy with contemporary soft furnishings. The size and accessibility of the room makes it perfect for  the largest family occasions, it is regularly used for wedding receptions and christenings

 

Reception Room – 55sq M (573sq ft) Has a capacity for 30 seated and is perfect for small social groups and societies

 

Committee Room – 20 sq M (214 sq ft) capacity for 20 seated and is perfect for small meetings or social gatherings

 

Kitchen – A modern commercial standard kitchen fitted with stainless steel work surfaces and a range cooker. Perfect for hot and cold food preparation.

 

Toilets – The hall boasts high quality facilities including for the less-abled

 

Car Parking – There is parking available for up to 30 cars with the possibility for more space (approx 20 spaces) with prior arrangement

 

Services - Mains Electric, Gas and WiFi

 

The basic rules of hire

 

The village hall is meant to be enjoyed by all who use it, so we ask all hirers to return the facility to the standard it was handed over. Cleaning equipment and chemicals are free and included in the hire charges and are easily accessible.

  

Additionally

 

  • The hall is licensed for entertainment but not for alcohol and therefore has NO bar facilities. Hirers are welcome to bring their own drinks or those preferring a bar facility can use the link on our sponsors section for preferable rates.
  • The playing of music should cease at midnight with the hall closing no later than 12.30am.
  • Smoking is not permitted within the building but facilities are available outside at the front of the building
  • There are no telephone or broadband facilities
  • First aid facilities are available on the wall of the kitchen
  • Keys should be returned as soon as practical after the hire
